I am a wife and mother of 5 sweet boys. They are my fulltime commitment. My passion for photography compels me to spend a little time away from home capturing the beauty and love I see in other families. I have pursued photography since I got my first camera at eight years old. I feel so blessed to have opportunities to share my love of photography with others. My desire is to provide everday people with extraordinary portraits at a very reasonable price. Why shouldn't normal families be able to afford great photographs! davencathi@sbcglobal.net or 916.276.5156.

Note: As of January 2010 my prices will change. I will be offering different session/portrait packages for different needs. I will be publishing my price list on my website before the end of 2009. If you have already booked your sitting you will get my current pricing. Please call or email me to schedule your family or individual session.

My new favorite session!

So let me start out by saying this will be a long post, but worth the time! This was a super fun session from a month ago (yes, I'm a little behind on my posting!). I found this FANTASTIC new location which I will share with other photographers IF and only IF you comment on this post! (In fact, I would love the comments from everyone that views this post!) This place has it all I tell ya!
Also, I've gotta give a shout out to one of my FAVORITE photographers- Vanessa Millecam. She has been helping me improve my work and I just can't thank her enough! If anyone is ever in the Salt Lake City area you just have to call her for your portrait needs!
Thanks V!
This family was so sweet and they are growing right before our eyes! Leila is expecting her 2nd child in the next few weeks! This was such a sweet time in their family's life. Their little girl was so sweet and excited for her new baby to come.

I just adore how much she loves her mommy's tummy!

The pics by this here pick-up were fun! So fun to add some more novelty to their session!
I digg this vintage look!

Just loved the laughter and genuine emotion in this black and white!

Leila loved the front of this truck and the old license plate, it turned out so cute!

What a treat it was to spend these tender moments with your family! Thank you and hopefully I'll be seeing your new little bundle of joy!

Gorgeous!
Love the truck pictures. Too bad we didn't have one at our session. I just love the old weathered vehicles as props.

Where was that?! The scenery was awesome and I love the shots you were able to get. The family is going to cherish those for some time.

Cathi - I went to your blog from your Facebook page. When Brian saw what I was looking at, he asked who is was (the photographer) and when I told him he said 'wow, she's getting lots better!'. High Praise! Love the location - would love to know where it is - as you know, great locations are a treasure!

I am Holly Fugit's sister. She really liked this location and wanted me to ask if you could release the location info so I could take her portraits there. If you want to see my site it is portraitsofamother.blogspot.com. I love this session! The truck photos are my favorite.
